Following the success of The Hurt Locker at this year’s Oscars, the Kathryn Bigelow directed multi Oscar winning film was produced as a multi-territorial Blu-ray Disc™ release by BRICKBOX DIGITAL MEDIA.
This title was completely localised for 4 territories - Czech, Hungarian, Rumanian and Polish markets withinour Prague based facility.

The Blu-ray Disc ™ release of The Hurt Locker is presented in stunning widescreen 1080p High Definition and has Czech, English, Hungarian and Polish 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, and includes Czech, Hungarian, Romanian and Polish subtitles. The disc also includes some great bonus features including a fascinating look into the making of the film.
The film is a gripping story of elite soldiers who have been undertaking one of the most dangerous professions in the world ‘ bomb disposal’ in war torn Iraq. The Hurt Locker is based on Mark Boal´s experiences, a freelance journalist who was embedded with an American bomb squad in the war in Iraq.
When a new sergeant James (Jeremy Renner) takes over a highly trained pyrotechnic team, he surprises his two subordinates, Sanborn and Eldridge (Anthony Mackie a Brian Geraghty), by recklessly plunging them into a deadly game of urban combat. James behaves as if he doesn´t accept the reality of death. While both men struggle to control their wild new leader, the city explodes into chaos, and James' true character reveals itself in a way that will change everyone forever.
